We are hiring a single staff member to lead (Executive Director) or co-lead (Co-Director of Development, Finance, and Operations) our organization beginning this fall. This leader will play a critical role in maintaining an equitable organizational culture in a multigenerational, multiracial, gender inclusive space. This individual will be responsible for building and overseeing a fundraising, development, and membership strategy that enables ASAN to scale its work across the state of Alabama, provide farmer mini-grants, and continue programming.
Location: Southeast U.S. (Alabama preferred). Position is largely telework and requires occasional driving (reimbursable up to 400 miles each way) throughout Alabama to meet with staff, members, and partners.
Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/wk) preferred, though part-time will be considered. Schedule is flexible and also requires the ability to work occasional nights and weekends.
