Each year, the Forum brings together farmers, ranchers, educators, advocates, and community leaders from across the Southeast to share knowledge, trade skills, and build lasting connections.

Come help us repair a high tunnel that was damaged in a storm. Volunteers will assist Hummingbird Springs Farm in attaching a new plastic film to the high tunnel. Lunch will be provided. Please prepare for the day by wearing closed toe shoes and bringing a refillable water bottle, gloves, hat, and sunscreen.
The Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026 passed the House on April 30 and is now headed to the Senate. The bill carries some real wins for sustainable agriculture, some serious shortcomings, and a few provisions that are downright concerning. Join ASAN's Policy Steering Committee for an hour-long walkthrough of the good, the bad, and the ugly, and what Alabama farmers and food system advocates can do about it.
