Alabama’s Premier Farm-to-Fork Celebration

Graze showcases the amazing food alchemy that can come from collaborations between farmers and chefs who are equally committed to quality, craft, and to growing a rich, locally rooted food system. Farmer-chef pairs will each collaborate on a single dish.

The farmers supply an ingredient, one that’s seasonal and/or unique to their farm, and the chef creates a dish that may be unique to the event, or one they’d like to re-visit, or test. Sample sizes will be served to picnickers as they graze.

Graze provides a rare opportunity to shake hands with your local farmers, learn about their growing practices, and discover the restaurants and caterers who champion Alabama’s agricultural community.

Supporting Local Agriculture

Your participation in Graze directly supports Alabama’s sustainable agriculture movement. Funds raised through ticket sales go toward year-round farmer workshops and gatherings, participant stipends, and the ongoing work of ASAN as we build a more sustainable and equitable food system across Alabama.

Graze Legacy

Funds raised through the purchase of Graze tickets go to support the ongoing work of our membership organization as we work towards a more sustainable food system in Alabama. This means funds go toward year-round farmer workshops and gatherings, participant stipends (including honoraria for our Graze chefs and farmers!), and general operating expenses to keep our nearly 25-year organization running.
