From the organizers:
The Alabama Institute for Social Justice (AISJ) is proud to present Victor Lewis, a nationally recognized social justice educator, trainer, and activist. Lewis has conducted keynote speeches, seminars, workshops and “train the trainer” programs throughout the U.S. and abroad and is best known for his inspiring leadership role in the award-winning race relations documentary, “The Color of Fear.” He is co-author, with Hugh Vasquez, of Lessons from The Color of Fear, a four volume multi-media curriculum used in conjunction with the film, an indispensable resource for educators, diversity trainers and facilitators. Lewis also conducts trainings using the curriculum.
This event is the fourth of ASIJ’s 2019 Racial Healing and Reconciliation Community Learning Forums, which are intended to facilitate dialogue and discussion around racial and social justice issues in order to promote healing, enhance understanding, and energize the community.
