UNA  USA

Greater Birmingham Chapter

Invites you to
Celebrate the 70th Anniversary
of the Declaration of Human Rights
‘Human rights, close to home’
With a special program:
Youth Engaged!
Join us as we
Rally for our world!
The United Nations Association – USA Greater  Birmingham Chapter has a goal of creating opportunities to foster global awareness and action for young people in elementary schools through  college.
‘GLOBAL’ means US too!
We help engage these young people-the future representatives and leaders of our nation-by providing assistance with cultural education programs, Model United Nations Programs, community presentations on the Sustainable Development Goals, and special projects created by students that support these goals.
We are very excited to work with many community leaders and student change-makers who are working to make impact and lead by example!
Come and meet them at the event, along with our featured speaker, Marco Sanchez, the UN Foundation Youth Engagment Coordinator!
You don’t want to miss this event, and we encourage you to bring students to be motivated and inspired!
IMPORTANT:
This is ‘not our usual dinner presentation’ – there will be food, but the atmosphere is all ‘RALLY’, and the venue is set up to allow active engagement with youth leaders and organizations that work to improve human rights!  This is an opportunity to listen and learn, and also to be heard as we #StandUp4HumanRights together!
Signs are encouraged!  There’s a prize for the best/most relevant sign to be determined by a guest judge!
Do you want to promote your organization or group at the event?
