The Taste of the Farm Annual Farm Fundraiser Dinner Event will be held on May 2 at 6pm. We will have 6 or more local chefs preparing all farm fresh foods (even the meats!) which will be include (but not limited to) beef, pork, quail, duck, chicken, goat, shrimp, and tilapia. The chefs will also be making three different drinks, but wines will be paired with each of the six courses.
Evening will include cocktails, hors d’ouvres, a guided tour of the farm, and a six-course dinner of local ingredients cooked by six local chefs “Iron Chef” style. This is a wonderful evening with great foods, but it is also a fundraiser for our farm. Before dinner starts to be served, the farmers will have a short talk on the farm, what is done here, their vision for the future, how they are helping the community, how they are helping to promote self sustainability, how they are helping to teach our younger generation how grow and can their own foods, and so much more.
