Hosted by Harvest Roots Farm and Ferment:

This workshop lead by Pete Halupka of Harvest Roots Farm & Ferment will cover the basics of grafting apples. There will be a focus on local, Southern heirloom apples for not only their resiliency but also their cultural history as a foodway and industry.

If you attend, you will leave with:
– The confidence and knowledge to continue grafting your own fruit trees.
– TWO trees that you grafted of a selection of Southern apples selected by Pete for their disease resistance, locality and low maintenance.
– More knowledge of a nearly forgotten history of not only Alabama apples but Southern apples at large.

Cost is $25, please RSVP to [email protected]  More info available at
