The 2019 Southern Cover Crop Conference will bring researchers, Extension personnel, farmers, and ag industry specialists together discover the latest information related to cover crops in the South.
7/16- “Workshop Day” at the Auburn Hotel and Conference Center7/17- “Field Day” E.V. Smith Research Center 8660 Eagle Road, Shorter, AL 36075We will have speakers and producers from throughout the Southeast discussing the latest research related to cover crop management and benefits.Please advertise this conference to producers interested in cover crops. Note that producers can receive free registration by entering the promo code: FARMERWe also have a limited number of scholarships to provide hotel rooms for producers on the nights of July 15 and 16.Farmers interested in receiving scholarships can email me Audrey Gamble at: [email protected]Scholarships will only cover hotel rooms, NOT mileage, airfare, or other costs. Scholarship will be given on a first come, first serve basis.We will also be accepting abstracts for research posters until April 1st. If you or your students (both graduate and undergraduate) have done research with cover crops, please consider submitting an abstract.
