Registration is full for the second-annual Queer* Farmer** Convergence in Decorah, Iowa August 24-26, 2019!
Want to get on the waitlist? Sign up here! We do have a few spots still available for BIPOC and folks within ~150 miles of Decorah, so if you are in either of those categories and want to register, send an email to [email protected]
*self-identified queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and otherwise identifying folx, and those committed to centering queerness
**aspiring, current, or lapsed agriculturalist; farmers’ allies/advocates operating within food system related non-profits, education, and research; people passionate about alternative agriculture
***a land-based gathering and camp out to center queerness in alternative agriculture, to build a community of support that interrogates and interrupts colonial, racist, sexist, and heteropatriarchal legacies in U.S. agriculture, to ask and propose ways that queer farmers can regenerate landscapes and revolutionize agriculture, to make music, create art, and eat delicious food together
