Featuring art by Annie Mae, renowned poster artist Amos Paul Kennedy, and craftspeople and artists from all over including Storm Cloud Hills handmade, hand forged copper and brass jewelry.  Featuring food including gumbo, fish, barbecue, pig ears, okra dishes, preserves, local produce, italian ice cream, Annie Mae’s famous pickled okra, and OKRA PIES (whole).  Music by Slim and the Soulful Saints.  More at http://www.okrafestival.org/.  Sponsored by Blackbelt Community Foundation, Annie Mae’s Art Place, Lowndes County Commission, and Lowndes Citizens United for Action.
