You’re anxious, worried, stressed about (pick one): money, health, work, family, love. Your heart is beating fast, your breathing is shallow and rapid, your mind is imagining doom and you wish you could just relax …NOW! There are many safe, non-prescription remedies and mind-body techniques to combat anxiety and stress without the adverse side-effects caused by many anti-anxiety medications. These natural remedies for anxiety and stress will address the root of the problem instead of putting a Band-Aid on your symptoms.

Join Debbie Boutelier, Community Herbalist and Master Gardener, as we discover ways to make your current herb garden provide not only aesthetic and culinary benefits, but medicinal benefits as well. This will be an introductory class exploring the reasons for incorporating herbs into a more healthful lifestyle, using herbs you may already have to create medicines, and some of the delivery systems used for medicinal purposes. We will learn how to make several useful herbal remedies primarily to address stress and anxiety. The participant will also get a popular herbal stress remedy to take home as well as handouts explaining several of the procedures.

Fee $25. Advanced registration and payment required. Space is limited. The fee is for the afternoon session only.
