Join Darryl Patton of Gadsden, Alabama as he discusses how common plants many Americans generally classify as “weeds” have medicinal properties and other uses. Author of “Mountain Medicine” and survival expert, Darryl will host plant walks intermittently throughout his program. Darryl mentored under Tommy Bass, formerly one of the best known folk medicine practitioners in Alabama. Kids can make a cordage bracelet.
