From the organizers:

Would you like an educational experience for all ages in a beautiful pastoral setting? We offer a farm tour on the fourth Sunday of each month. You’ll have a chance to learn about our history, hear about how we raise our animals and why we do things the way we do, view the inside of our processing plant, and see our guard dogs, farm cats, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys, sheep, goats, rabbits, cattle (if we have any at that time), and any baby poultry we have.

Tours start at 4 p.m. We’ll meet at the processing plant (there’s room to park up there by the road).

Tickets are $5 for those age 13 and up (younger kids are free).

If you’re a part of our Farm Membership, then your ticket is free

Please email us to let us know which day you’re coming, so we know how many folks to expect: [email protected] or call 205-936-6120 with any questions!

At the end of the tour (lasts about 2 hours), we’ll have refreshments and will have our products available for sale.

This will be a walking tour and we have a big hill you’ll go down to see the farm then back up to finish, so you’ll get a little bit of exercise that day. Wear clothes that are OK getting a little dirty, comfortable walking shoes (you may prefer closed toe shoes or boots in case of fire ants or manure), sun protection, mosquito protection if you want it, and a cooler if you want to bring any products home.
