From the organizers:

Master Gardener’s of North Alabama March workshop registration is open! Growing mushrooms at home is fun and easy. Growing mushrooms on a log may be one of the oldest forms of cultivation. There are many reasons to grow and eat mushrooms. Save money and never wonder how long those mushrooms have been siting on the grocery shelf. Numerous health benefits are linked to mushrooms.

Attend the Home Mushroom Propagation Workshop and take the mystery out of growing your own mushrooms. This is a hands-on class. Come and create your own shiitake mushroom log to take home with you.
