Alabama is now entering its second year of legal hemp production. Interested growers should be as informed as possible about this new crop, which has seen a rapid revitalization in the United States.
Alabama Cooperative Extension System specialists and regional agents will provide informational meetings throughout the state over the next few months. Anyone interested in hemp is welcome to attend. People do not have to have a hemp grower or processor license to attend.
Registration and Agenda
The meeting cost is $25 and includes coffee and donuts in the morning and beverages and snacks throughout the meeting. Each meeting will last from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Registration is available online at the Alabama Extension Store.
