Each year the Peinhardt Living History Farm in Cullman is open to the public for one Saturday in October. The farm is opened for everyone to come out and experience history in a setting that will take you back in history and allow you to actually participate in some “hands-on” work.  Exhibits and demonstrations are spread over 40 acres.  Events have included:

  • Old time woodworking – hewing, splitting, crosscut sawing and old tools
  • Pumpkin painting
  • Old time music
  • Mules, horses and wagon rides
  • Antique tractor shows
  • Museum
  • Field crops
  • Petting animals
  • Sorghum syrup making
  • Grist mill
  • Blacksmith – horseshoeing
  • Sawmill

Additional directions: take I-65 Exit 308, take hwy 278 East. Free Parking on Talley Ho Street.  

The next Farm Day is Saturday, October 19, 9:00am – 3:00pm.
Admission is $7 for adults (age 13 and up), $5 for children (age 5-12). Children 4 and under are free.  More information at http://www.peinhardtfarm.com/farmDay.html.
