We are pleased that our 80th event will be hosted by the Mississippi State University (MSU) Beaumont Horticulture Unit in Beaumont MS, south of Hattiesburg. In addition to highlighting work of the Beaumont Horticulture Unit, we will be partnering with Alcorn State University and its Mississippi Small Farm and Agribusiness Center to launch a series of trainings for farmers and ranchers.
Major topics for the first training module on April 26th will include:
“Production; Financial, Marketing, and Food Safety Issues.”
This session will also discuss challenges facing new and beginning farmers.
There is NO COST to attend this event, but PRE-REGISTRATION is required!
FREE LUNCH WILL BE PROVIDED.
