Alabama Water Rally

March 17, 2017 - March 19, 2017

Join the Alabama Rivers Alliance as they celebrate 20 YEARS, at their annual Alabama Water Rally, at beautiful Camp McDowell!  From intro classes for those new to the movement to high-level strategic sessions diving into the issues and challenges we face every day, Alabama Water Rally is the perfect weekend for river defenders from across the state to connect, collaborate and commune. PLUS: two nights full of music, great networking and celebration!

Each year Alabama Water Rally brings more than 100 individual attendees from a variety of backgrounds together to share, network, and learn — and celebrate our 132,000 miles of rivers and streams. Participants include protectors of our rivers, community leaders, students interested in environmental advocacy, agency employees, teachers, elected officials, scientists, lawyers, engineers, concerned citizens, nature lovers, and other eco-minded folks.

More information here, and on the Facebook event page.

This event is not hosted by ASAN.  As one of ASAN’s roles is to share information and resources across our network so as to maximize all of our impact, we routinely post events that we ourselves are not hosting.  If you have questions regarding this event, please contact event organizers rather than ASAN.
