The Agricultural Marketing Service Technical Assistance (AMSTA) initiative helps communities secure federal funds through in-person grant writing workshops in each state. Workshops will focus on:
- The Farmers Market and Local Food Production Program: Overview
- Developing Your Idea
- Preparing Your Proposal
- Preparing the Application Package
- Post-Award Management Requirements
The workshop will also include discussion and activities related to estimating project costs; tools/strategies for assessing or documenting the impact of your project; and evaluation criteria for submitted proposals that will be used by reviewers.
