From the organizers:
1 Day Workshop
This workshop is for adult educators including teachers, volunteers, and informal educators who would like to learn how to teach students about basic watershed concepts related to water quality and water monitoring, the water environment, and water pollution through hands-on activities. This is a Watershed “101” type workshop where we introduce educators to the importance of citizen science. Participants do not need any previous experience with water monitoring to participate.
The workshop does not cover water monitoring techniques and will not result in certification. Participants will learn more about how to get involved with AWW and 4-H AWW.
Pre-registration is required and class sizes are limited.
