From the organizers:

The 2nd annual Harvest Party at BDA Farms will commence on Saturday, November 2nd. Gates will open at 1 pm. Tours, games, activities for kids, and tons of delicious food are in store.

CSA members will receive a little extra produce the Wednesday before the event in anticipation of a potluck style dinner!

We ask that you please bring a small dish inspired with veggies from the farm! We encourage you to cook whatever style dish you like (soup, salad, casserole, stir fry, etc.) We will have warming pans and dishware for all types. We’re having a best dish competition and prizes will be handed out for the winners.

Prizes include: CSA share, Meat share, and an egg share for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. We’ll also be offering lots of tasty dishes and grilled meat from the farm. This is a very exciting night for our farm and we feel there is no better way to celebrate a great season than eating lots of good food and meeting new people.

This is an open event so feel free to invite friends and family. We only ask that each family bring a small dish to share with everyone else.

We also ask that you RSVP by Monday, October 28th to give us time to plan accordingly.

There will be lots of fun kids activities, so there will be fun for all.

Tentative Schedule Of Events:

1 pm: Gates open. Appetizers, beer, wine, and local tea will be available all day and into the evening.

2:30 pm: Garden/livestock tours begin. Tours will leave in approximately 30-45 minute intervals so you have plenty of time to see everything.

4:30: Games will begin. Fun for all ages!

5:45-6 pm: Dinner is served. Live music to enjoy.
